My name is Giulia and I am pretty obsessed in working with those pixels which probably and hopefully will be with me on my way forever and ever.

I am an experienced and passionate designer. I like to find and create meaning through communication, graphics and emotions that awaken everything that has been hidden. I possess a wide range of skills that combine innovative art and design principles. I am a self-motivated and innovative person with a unique eye for creative opportunities. I like to explore possibilities and project myself beyond concepts sometimes fixed and ordinary.

When I don’t dive into graphic and animated stuff I love playing playstation until my eyes bleed, hanging around with friends, watching movies while devouring a slice or ten of pizza, reading books and magazines, doing crosswords, watching quizzes, shopping online. For sure there is a bunch of things I’m forgetting.

Yes, that’s just what you think. I’m quite nerdy. Plus, I’m a damn curious person and I need to know pretty much everything I don’t know yet. But know that if someone offers me a swim -be it in the sea, in a lake or whatever- then nothing matters anymore. I love spending my free time outside even more than doing all this nerdy stuff. I like to think that most of my creativity is fueled by what is surrounding me, that’s why I love travelling and I consider it as a vital source of inspiration. Discovering new places and realities it’s always a chance to enlarge my perspectives.

Never stop learning -and observing: #soakingup.

I am currently living and working in Lausanne, but I try to travel and move and freelance where golden opportunities are and where I feel good.

Ok, so here’s the story.

After my degree in Graphic Design & Art Direction at NABA – Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti in Milan, I have been freelancing for three years, building up my skills and my clients network.

Between 2018 and 2019 I experienced a role as graphic designer in Artrust as well, which is a small but relevant art gallery in Melano, Ticino. There, I learned I am also comfortable when it comes to working in a team of people, because I am convinced that it allows to create a synergy between several individuals with different talents.

My big job opportunity comes with 2020, so since January I’ve been working in Lausanne for Publicis Communication, the creative hub of Publicis Groupe, one of the biggest communication agencies in the world. Here I’ve finally had the chance to get closer to big advertising campaigns and take part in their creation.

Here’s a bunch of logos that will help you understand in which environment I have worked and what I’ve been challenged with.

Cheers!
